Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with an unwavering commitment to excellence. The team is looking for a candidate that has the ability to watch and learn, independently progress their skillset and learning and deliver high quality work products and service in a timely manner, to fulfil client expectation.

 

  • Provide support to Corporate & Securities Partners and Associates
  • Due diligence, verification, drafting and reviewing documents, performing legal research.
  • Matter management, e.g.: reviewing initial and subsequent drafts, summarizing highlighting changes relevant to the client, handling documentation relating to closings and completion and document checklist review and annotation.

Qualifications / Person Specification

  • Degree in Law.
  • Solicitor admission in Hong Kong, and/or Bar admissions in the US/PRC would be advantage.
  • Paralegal experience from well-regarded legal firms with solid experience in Corporate & Securities, Capital Market or related practices.
  • Fluent in oral and written English and Chinese. The candidate will need to be comfortable participating in conversations and written communications in Chinese (Mandarin) and able to review drafts in Chinese.
  • Strong sense of responsibility.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, driven and efficient.
  • Able to work independently
  • Willing to work overtime
