Responsibilities

  • Involve in daily operations, month-end closing activities, including prepare/review journal entries and schedules
  • Involve in management reporting, including perform expense variance analysis, prepare materials for monthly presentation
  • Involve in the operations of accounts receivable and payable
  • Involve in annual budget and annual audit
  • Coordinate with the relevant teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Prepare cashflow forecast and Partners' distribution
  • Prepare various reconciliations, including bank reconciliation, intercompany transactions/balances reconciliations
  • Coordinate with overseas affiliate to prepare regular reports, analysis and budget
  • Participate in various project assignments e.g. system upgrade and implementation, assessment of impact of new/update tax rules and accounting standards, etc

Qualifications / Person Specification

  • Bachelor degree holder in Accounting or relevant discipline
  • Member of Professional Accounting bodies
  • Prior experience in auditing is an advantage
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in MNC environment (at least 3 years' experience in monthly reporting, forecast and budgeting)
  • Preferably from a legal or professional services industry
  • Strong problem solving skill, self-initiated, well organized with attention to details and hard working
  • Strong communication skill with good command of spoken & written English and Chinese
  • Good team player and able to work independently under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Proficient in relevant computer capabilities and applications e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • Knowledge in Aderant/CMS/TM1 is an advantage
