Responsibilities

The Project Manager will be responsible to lead and drive multiple IT projects, making sure the projects are of high quality and delivered timely and within budget.

 

  • Serve as the primary contact for IT projects and ad-hoc non-IT projects
  • Manage any new system implementation, including Intapp Compliance (Conflicts, Intake, Terms, Walls)
  • Drive and manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, from establishing project objectives to execution
  • Ensure the projects stay on track and meet defined milestones and deliverables within budget
  • Manage internal teams and provide instructions on prioritising and resolving work packages
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, issues and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project progress, milestones and challenges regularly
  • Facilitate stakeholder discussions and decision making to align requirements and priorities
  • Ensure the implemented solution meets functional, performance and security requirements
  • Manage vendors to ensure the deliverables' quality
  • Design and drive testing to ensure seamless implementation
  • Capture lessons learned and best practices for future initiatives
  • Coach and empower team members to foster a positive and collaborative culture
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required to meet Firm goals and objectives

Qualifications / Person Specification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in technology project management, preferably with system integration experience
  • Good understanding in legal risk management and business intake processes is a strong advantage
  • Hands on approach to follow up project issues
  • Holder of PMP or Prince 2 is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge and experience with Aderant suite of products, Intapp, iManage is a plus
  • Ability to articulate complex technologies to non-technical people and help technical people understand the business requirements better
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain strong long-term relationships, communications and interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders at all levels  
  • Proven ability to work on own initiative and without supervision
  • Proven change management skills and experience
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines with shifting priorities
  • A strong appreciation of value achieved through astute financial management including budget planning and operational expense management
  • A high level of discretion in preserving the confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Chinese is a plus but not essential), able to communicate effectively and in a professional manner with all levels of the Firm and outside vendors
