Responsibilities

  • Prepare bills based on requests received through the daily operations.
  • Handle enquires in relation to billing received from secretaries and fee earners.
  • Monitor of certain tasks to ensure all incidents resolved.
  • Assist with the submission of the bills into the ebill hub if the client has requested the bills to be electronically submitted.
  • Proactively monitor ebilling progress including status reporting in ebilling systems.
  • Ensure that all e-billing issues, including rejections and/or deductions, are monitored and resolved timely and provide problem solving assistance where needed
  • Liaise with e-billing Global Team with respect to any rejected bills during e-billing submissions
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with billing attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants and external clients, and responding to any queries regarding the billing process
  • Conduct regular training sessions for new secretaries, real estate executives and assistants
  • Perform ad hoc assignments as required

Qualifications / Person Specification

  • Post-secondary education
  • Minimum 4 years' relevant experience including client service, billing and/or collections, preferably in a professional services firm.
  • Previous ebilling system experience will be an asset.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin.
  • Result-oriented, with a strong time management skills, able to set schedules and work under pressure to meeting deadlines.
  • Highly organized and pro-active; able to work under pressure.
  • Strong attention to details  and problem-solving skills.
  • Good PC skills in MS Word and Excel.
