An exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and expanding Singapore office as an Associate/Senior Associate and become a member of our Global Finance Practice.


  • To be a senior associate / 3-6 pqe associate, based in Singapore, covering the Asia-Pacific region for a global practice, and advise on banking & finance related matters, with a focus on:
    • fund finance
    • project finance
    • general lending and security
    • banking & finance regulatory and advisory
  • Work with the Singapore partners to support and interact with the team's clients which include financial institutions, funds and multi-national corporates throughout the region

Qualifications / Person Specification

  • The scope of legal work is varied and includes drafting, negotiation and handling domestic through to complex multi-jurisdictional, multi-tiered, full and limited recourse financings as well as advisory aspects covering regulatory issues and new technologies such as finance Qualified in Singapore (English or Australian qualifications can be considered)
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Singapore (or 3pqe in England and Wales (or equivalent))
  • Strong experience in banking and finance, with experience of fund finance being especially useful
  • Willingness to learn new products and be a team player
  • Take responsibility for running transactions and supervise juniors
  • Fluent English (spoken and written) required.
  • Attention to detail, organised, efficient and able to work under pressure
