  • Liaise with bankers on bank account opening and maintenance matters
  • Handle bank reconciliation, prepare month end journals and perform ledger analysis
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly partner distribution ad handle partner related matters
  • Check and record supplier invoices and staff claims in Aderant on a timely basis
  • Ensure the compliance of approval matrix for office expenses
  • Process payments before payment due date and handle queries made by internal and external parties 
  • Ensure the completeness of transactions recorded in bank ledger
  • Assist the management of petty cash floats and corporate credit cards
  • Monitor and provide funding to regional offices in Asia
  • Participate in implementation of Chrome River Invoice and other global system initiatives
  • Assist the preparation of monthly cash flow forecast
  • Ensure adherence to the month end close  timelines
  • Assist with ad-hoc assignments related to treasury function (e.g. KYC review and issue of new credit card, etc.)

Qualifications / Person Specification

  • Bachelor degree holder in Accounting, Finance or relevant discipline
  • Minimum 12 years' experience in MNC environment (preferably from a legal or professional services industry)
  • Experience to communicate issues with the banks
  • Experience to operate transactions through HSBCnet
  • Knowledge in Aderant/Chrome River (Expense and Invoice) is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Good communicatio skills with attention to details
  • Good command of spoken & written English and Mandarin
  • Candidates with less expereince would be considered as Senior Accounts Officer
