  • Provide quality support to a leading regional team of shipping finance and leasing lawyers
  • Assist with shipping finance transactional documents, registration, distribution and other document management tasks
  • Assist with preparation of draft corporate authorisation documents and legal opinions
  • Assist with collation of conditions precedent and subsequent and preparation of checklists
  • Assist with ship sale and purchase and leasing transactions
  • Liaise with insurers, charterer and other transaction parties
  • Manage timeline for each transaction/project and ensure smooth operation of the transaction/project

Qualifications / Person Specification

  • University graduate with at least 2-3 years’ experience in a support role from well-regarded law firms; prior shipping and finance background/experience will be beneficial but not mandatory. Experienced candidates with more years of experience are also welcome to apply.
  • Fluent written and spoken English and competent Mandarin is required; fluency in Cantonese or a South East Asian language is advantageous
  • Excellent PC skills in MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • A team player with a “can-do” attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Hardworking, efficient and able to multitask and work under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
