Responsibilities

Reporting to Senior Business Development Manager, this regional role will provide both strategic and tactical business development support and be part of the success of the assigned practice groups.

 

  • Conduct client/industry/market research to identify new leads and opportunities
  • Develop winning pitches, proposals and presentations and related print/digital marketing collaterals
  • Contribute to the global proposal assembly system by providing updates on standard marketing languages and gathering significant completed matters
  • Take a creative approach to draft submissions for legal directories and award
  • Work in conjunction with the Events team to organise client seminars, hospitality events and conferences
  • Leverage the firm's global client relationship management system (i.e. InterAction) to create targeted client lists for business development and marketing purposes
  • Prepare content for the assigned practices and contribute to relevant internal communication channels

Qualifications / Person Specification

  • An undergraduate degree preferably in a business related field
  • Professional services industry or B2B marketing experience
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite of offerings (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • A knowledge of InterAction (or similar CRM systems) is preferred, but not essential
  • Familiarity with research techniques and databases typically used for competitive intelligence (e.g., Manzama, Capital IQ, Mergermarket, EMIS, LexisNexis, Lexology)
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – must have a mature, professional and personable presentation and demeanor
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrates good judgment and problem-solving capabilities, a team-first and client-service orientation
  • Energy and stamina in high pressure-to-deliver work environment
