Responsibilities

  • Work with the Finance Manager to ensure a smooth operation of the Finance & Accounts Department for the Singapore office.
  • Assist in all accounting functions, including financial analysis, annual audit, tax filing, monthly and annual end-closing, daily reconciliation
  • Responsible for accounts payable and receivables and regional reporting.
  • Prepare payment requests for vendor invoices
  • Enter employee claim reimbursements, cash receipts, vendor payment requests, local and overseas invoices and journals
  • Assist with the monthly client billings and maintaining client billing records
  • Prepare manual check payments
  • Prepare wire payments through internet banking
  • Maintain relevant reports and performing related accounting functions as may be required by the Finance Manager
  • Handle internal enquires and performing other accounts related duties as required by the Finance Manager

Qualifications / Person Specification

  • College degree graduate with LCCI book-keeping Intermediate or above
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
  • Result-oriented, with a strong sense of responsibility of completing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Highly organized and pro-active; able to work under pressure
  • Proficiency in Excel and MS Word is a must
