Responsibilities

  • Handle Hong Kong Competition Commission investigations and global merger control matters
  • Primarily focus on domestic and international Competition related work
  • Focus on other corporate and commercial matters as and when required, particularly cross-border mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions
  • Implement complex investment structures in multi-jurisdictional environment and in global merger control matters 

Qualifications / Person Specification

  • PRC qualification
  • 2 – 3 years’ solid experience in PRC Competition law
  • Experience of handling Hong Kong Competition Commission investigations preferred but not essential
  • Prior experience in M&A matters and/or litigation is useful
  • Language skills – English, Cantonese and Mandarin required
  • Able to maintain a polite and professional demeanour when dealing with clients
  • Ability to communicate assertively when under pressure
  • Strong initiative, organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Commitment to continuous improvement
